On Tuesday afternoon: « Solutré »
Sarting point at the parking of the Rock of Solutré. Circuit of 2h30 to 3h around and on the Rock of Solutré. Prehistory, history, geology, landscape. It’s possible to taste the five soils of Pouilly Fuissé at the cellar of the Union des Producteurs du Cru.

On Wednesday afternoon: « The wooden Barn »
Starting point at the restaurant of the Wooden Barn (la grange du bois), for a circuit of 2h30 to 3h. Landscape reading, botanical and geologie, history and anecdote in this « magic » place. It’s possible to taste goat cheese in a bio farm.

On Thursday morning: « on the trace of the goat »
Starting point at the church place of Davayé at 9am. A circuit of 3 h between vineyard and limestone region on the Rock of Vergisson. Tasting of goat cheese and of the vineyard of Saint Véran.

By walk or bike
16 circuits (10 to 18 km) 11 are practicable by bike, from every village. They go through the Val Lamartinien on the poet tracks. Guide available at the tourist office.

Walking or biking .
In continuation with the Green Road, the circuit follow the Saône: it’s some ancient towpath. This Blue Road is practicable by walk or bike : the departure is located at the harbour (river port) and go in North direction.

From the railway of Mâcon Loché, Mâcon city and Châlon City, some bus equiped for bikes permit you to join the Green road. Ideal for aa adapted to your envy circuit, and it permit you to do a one way if you want. W advise you to book for the bike transport, the day before your departure before 4pm. A « pass Balad », for the group and family to 4 persons, permit you to travel freely on the bus n°7 during the full day to a unic price. On presentation of your Pass, you acn have exemption of payement or specials prices for the visit of various sites or hiring of bike. Sells aboard the bus.

Walking, biking and roller
This famous road of 117 kilometers long follow some ancient railway. It’s practicable for anyone thanks to its tarring surface and there is no car circulation. From the ancient railway of Charnay les Mâcon (2kms from Mâcon) to Cluny, this Green Road winds on 21 kms through the Val Lamartinien. With its landscapes which are overlooked by the Rocks of Solutre and Vergisson (« operation big site »), the Green road go throuh the Maconnais vineyard and villages, where the poet Lamartine had leave a lot of memories. With some important uneven, this itinerary offers the particularity to go through the Clear Wood tunnel of 1,6 km long. The Green Road will be connected to a longer circuit in order to do « the Burgundy by biking », a circuit of more than 600 kilometers. There is equipments and services all way along the road : carparks, waterplans, toilets, picnic area, public shelter, bench, biking stop, bike or roller hiring.

Track in the forest and crest,. Itinerary in a bend of 3 days from Cluny to Givry, on naturals and mark out tracks ; motorized vehicle are not allowed. There is adapted lodging on the way : equestrian center, resting place (gite), host room, hotels, open house, bivouac place.
